THE NOURISH NEST 2025-26
On Saturday, 26th July 2025, as part of the District Project The Nourish Nest, the Interact Club of SMSD visited a hostel that shelters underprivileged children studying in Classes 6 to 12. The primary goal of this effort was to support their nutritional needs by providing them with essential groceries.
Items were selected based on both nutritional value and ease of preparation for the children and hostel staff. The aim was to ensure wholesome and balanced meals.
Under the guidance of our Faculty Advisor, Mrs. Madhumita Ghosh Paul, we have invited Eminent Rotarian Manta Singh, the current President of Rotary Central, Durgapur Central, Rotarian Malabika
Madam, the program was successfully executed. Their presence added immense value and encouragement to the event.
This visit was not just about giving—it was about connecting, understanding, and uplifting. Seeing the children’s smiles and gratitude was a heartwarming reminder of why such initiatives matter. The Nourish Nest remains committed to supporting the well-being and growth of children in need.
