THE ALBERT BARROW MEMORIAL ALL INDIA CREATIVE WRITING COMPETITION 2026-27
The Albert Barrow Memorial All-India Creative Writing Competition 2026 was organised by The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations at various schools across India on Monday, 13th July 2026. St. Michael’s School, Durgapur, not only participated in both the Categories I & II, but also was privileged enough to host the event for Category II of Pool no – D4. Six schools participated from the city as well as the surrounding cities like Asansol and Ukhra. Our students were sent out to neighbouring schools, who had also hosted the event. The topics were absolutely relevant to the present-day scenario and students could truly identify with the issues at hand. The event gave an opportunity for the spontaneous overflow of the powerful thoughts and feelings of today’s youth, besides boosting their creativity and imagination.
