Remembering hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand Singh

National Sports Day was observed on the 29th of August 2023 in St Michael’s School to commemorate the birth anniversary of Major Dhyan Chand, the hockey legend.

As a mark of respect for the spirit of sportsmanship, a tug of war for the girls and boys was contested by the students of class 12.

The students of Classes 2 and 3 also took part in a friendly football match amidst great applause and cheer.

The entire school witnessed the events on the field cheering and applauding the team spirit and joining in the camaraderie.
