MODEL UNITED NATION 2024 (SMSD MUN 1.0)

On June 14th and 15th 2024, St. Michael’s School, Durgapur, observed its first ever Model United Nations (SMSD MUN-1.O).

It began with a welcome dance followed by the lighting of the lamp by the Principal, the Headmistress, some teachers, and the MUN’s Secretary General, the Director General, the Chair and the Vice Chair. Thereafter our  Principal Sir delivered a short   speech and declared the SMSD MUN-1.O open.

Students of Classes XI and XII  organised as well as participated in this unique programme which included the sessions of United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) and the All India Political Party Meet (AIPPM).

The sessions were stormed by the exuberant nature of the participants and their mastery over national as well as international politics was really commendable.
