INTER-HOUSE HINDI ELOCUTION (SENIOR) 2025-26
On Wednesday, 16th July, 2025, an INTER – HOUSE HINDI ELOCUTION COMPETITION was organized at the auditorium of St. Michael’s School . In this competition the students of classes 6 to 12 participated . This competition was divided into 2 categories – Category No. 1 – (Classes 6 – 8) and Category No. 2 – (Classes 9 – 12).
The students of classes 6 – 8 recited poems, whereas the students of classes 9 – 12 gave speeches on different topics . The program started with a prayer by the Senior School Hindi Teacher, Mrs. Raj Nandini Balmiki , and the program was conducted by the Hindi Teacher, Mrs. Hemlata Sharma. There were three judges in the Senior School Competition . At the end of the program the Principal of the school as well as the Vice – Principal praised all the students who participated in the elocution competition. They spoke about its importance and praised all the teachers for their efforts at grooming. The Subject Supervisor of the Hindi Department, Mr. Subodh Kumar Panday, told the students about elocution and guided them.
In Category – 1 – Amrisha Chhetri ( St. Patrick’s House ) came First ,Kirtman Kaur ( St. Andrew’s House ) came Second and Anurag Patra ( St. Patrick’s House ) came Third . In Category – 2 – Mehak Sharma ( St. David’s House ) secured the First position, Shyam Gupta ( St. David’s House ) secured the Second position and Prachi Yadav ( St. George’s House ) secured the Third position . The contest ended in one and half hours and was thoroughly enjoyed by the audience and judges.
