INTER-HOUSE HINDI ELOCUTION COMPETITION 2026-27 (JUNIOR)

On Wednesday, 17th July, 2026, an INTER-HOUSE HINDI ELOCUTION COMPETITION was organized at the auditorium of St. Michael’s School. In this competition the students of classes 1 to 5 participated. This competition was divided into 3 categories –  Category No. 1 – (Class 1), Category No. 2 – (Classes 2 – 3) and Category No. 3 – (Classes 4 – 5).  All the students recited poems.

The program started with a prayer by the Headmistress (Junior Section) Mrs. Sarika Gracy Khimila, and the program was conducted by the Hindi Teacher, Mrs. Neelam Saluja.  There were three judges in the Primary School Competition. At the end of the program the Principal of the school as well as the Vice-Principal praised all the students who participated in the elocution competition. They spoke about its importance and praised all the teachers for their efforts at grooming. The Subject Supervisor of the Hindi Department, Mr. Subodh Kumar Panday, told the students about elocution and guided them.                                                                                  

In Category – 1 – Olive Serah Binu (St. David’s House) came First, Md. Shahzaib Alam (St. George’s House) came Second and Gursifat Singh (St. Patrick’s House) came Third.

In Category – 2 – Agam Prakash (St. George’s House) came First, Ishaan Bhagat (St. Andrew’s House) came Second and Arjus Mondal (St David’s House) came Third.

In Category – 3 – Nayanshi Kumari (St. George’s House) and Saanvi Singh (St David’s House) jointly held the First positionand Aikantik Kundu (St. Andrew’s House) secured the Third position. The contest ended in one and half hours and was enjoyed thoroughly by the audience and the judges.
