INTER HOUSE FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT FOR GIRLS 2026-27
The Inter-House Girls’ Football Tournament 2026 was successfully held at St. Michael’s School, Durgapur, on 16th, 18th, 19th and 23rd June 2026. The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from all four houses and provided students with an excellent opportunity to demonstrate their footballing skills, teamwork, discipline and sportsmanship.
The competition began with an exciting match between St. David’s House and St. George’s House, which ended in a 1–1 draw. The match between St. Andrew’s House and St. Patrick’s House concluded in a goalless draw. The remaining fixtures were equally competitive, with each team displaying determination, coordination and a commendable spirit of fair play throughout the tournament.
Based on their overall performance, St. George’s House emerged as the champions, remaining unbeaten with two victories and one draw. St. David’s House secured the second position, followed by St. Andrew’s House in third place and St. Patrick’s House in fourth place. The tournament was marked by healthy competition, mutual respect and exemplary sportsmanship among all participants.
The event was a grand success and reflected the school’s commitment to promoting physical fitness, teamwork, leadership and the holistic development of students. The school congratulates all participants for their dedication, enthusiasm and exemplary conduct, making the tournament a memorable and rewarding experience for all.
