FAREWELL CEREMONY OF CLASS 12 (2025-26)
On 5th February 2026, class 11 bade farewell to the students of class 12. They were greeted warmly with Tilak, flowers and a poignant welcome dance. The programme was inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp by the Principal Mr. Charles Joseph Nyss, the Vice Principal Mr. Avinash George Prasad, the Headmistress Mrs. Sarika Gracy Khimla, the School Chaplin Rev. Sandipan Sinha and the School Captain Ms. Sanjana Carol Khimla supported by a soulful rendition of Aguner Paroshmoni by the students of class 11.
This was followed by a prayer and the Bible reading. Next one hour was filled with some very entertaining cultural items, both traditional and contemporary, intercepted by a brilliant comedy skit. The programme was carried forward by the School Captain’s speech and an inspiring oration by Subodh Pandey Sir. A nice Powerpoint presentation took the students down the memory lane. The farewell programme came to an end with the Principal’s speech and the School Song. The joy of the students knew no bounds when they were gifted with mementoes veiled with some more memories to carry back home. They, then, gathered at the school ground. The event reached its culmination with the ceremonial balloon release – a spectacular feast for the eyes. They were then handed over the food packets in their respective classrooms. The students left with lots of good wishes and blessings for their upcoming ISC Examination 2026.
