FANCY DRESS COMPETITION 2026-27

On 7th August 2026, St. Michael’s School, Durgapur organised a colourful and exciting Fancy Dress Competition for the Pre-Primary Section in the school auditorium. The programme commenced with a prayer followed by a warm welcome address. Parents were invited to witness the event, making the occasion even more memorable and encouraging for the young participants.

Dressed in vibrant costumes representing a variety of characters, the tiny participants confidently took to the stage and spoke with great enthusiasm. Their creativity, confidence, and charming performances captivated the audience. The competition aimed to help children overcome stage fear, build self-confidence, and develop effective communication and presentation skills from an early age.

The performances were evaluated by a panel of judges comprising of teachers from the Primary and Secondary Sections. Participants were judged on their confidence, presentation, creativity, and overall performance. Winners from each class and section were felicitated with certificates by the respected Principal and Headmistress in recognition of their outstanding performances.

The event concluded on a joyful and memorable note, with every child participating wholeheartedly and making the competition a delightful experience for all.
