BENGALI CREATIVE WRITING COMPETITION 2025-26
On 22nd July, 2025, the Bengali Creative Writing Competition was held at St. Michael’s School, Durgapur. The students of classes 2 to 5 participated enthusiastically in the event. The event was held in their respective classrooms during the zero period. The students expressed their writing skills in the form of poetry and short stories. The best three writings were selected as winners. In Class 2 – Chitrita Goswami of St. Patrick’s House came First, Mantika Adhikary of St. Patrick’s House came Second, Triyaksha Gupta of St. Andrew’s House and Srinika Dey of St. George’s House came Third. In Class 3 – Sourojit Bauri of St. David’s House came First, Rajanya Dhara of St. Andrew’s House came Second, and Ritisha Chowdhury of St. George’s House came Third. In Class 4 – Jagriti Pathak of St. George’s House secured the First position, Ritika Singha of St. George’s House secured the Second position, Ishani Mukherjee of St. George’s House and Khushi Roy of St. David’s House secured the Third position. In Class 5 – Siddhartha Kumbhakar of St. Andrew’s House came First, Anindya Bansi of St. David’s House came Second, Suroshree Ghosh of St. Andrew’s House and Anwesha Chakraborty of St. Andrew’s House came Third. The main objective behind organising this competition was to enhance the writing skills of the learners. On the whole it was an enriching experience for both students and teachers.
