77th Republic Day Celebration
St. Michael’s School celebrated the 77th Republic Day with great pride and enthusiasm on the 26th of January, 2026. The programme commenced at 8.00 a.m. The celebration began with a short prayer followed by the unfurling of the National Flag by our respected Principal Sir, Vice Principal Sir, Headmistress Ma’am and Mrs. Sheuli Bhattacharya, our Co-ordinator Ma’am. All voices soared in unison, the sacred strains of the National Anthem swelling forth, a heartfelt tribute to the nation’s glory. A short speech on the significance of the Republic Day inspired everyone to be responsible citizens of India. Some students of the Primary and secondary Sections presented a powerful patriotic dance representing our rich cultural heritage and motivating us to uphold our values as citizens of India. The Dance was followed by a musical presentation composed by our music teacher, Mr. Uday Biswas and sung by the students’ choir. The stage was then yielded to the Teachers’ choir whose melodious refrains wadded the air. The programme was brought to a dignified and appreciative end with a heartfelt vote of thanks by the Vice Principal.
