St. Michael's School Durgapur

FELICITATON OF SHILPI RATNA PUROSKAR (Competition) 2023-24 of DURGAPUR SHILPI MAHAL

A cultural competition was held at st. Michael’s School, Durgapur on 18^th & 19^th November 2023, organized by Durgapur Shilpimahal, cultural association of Durgapur. The organized events were for solo singing, solo dance and solo Bengali recitation.  The students of St. Michael’s school took part in this competition and came up with the positions with :

Solo Singing  :

1^st Position : AWIPRIT PRASAD ( Group – C)

Solo Dance  :

3^rd Position  : PURBITA DUTTA ( Group –B)

3^rd Position  : ABHILASHA DUTTA ( Group –D)

Solo Bengali Recitation  :

1^st Position  : UDITA CHOUDHURI (Group –B)

 

The competitions were conducted in various classroom and also in the auditorium over 2 days. It was a very success venture. The events were conducted by the organization. The whole hearted supports of the Principal and the other administrative staffs of St. Michael’s School towards this competition were deeply appreciated by the executives and members of the Association of Durgapur and all others who had attended from far and wide.

Some of the teaching staffs like  Mrs. Anannya Bagish,  Mrs.Archita Majumder, Mrs. Pamela Biswas,  Mrs. Arpita Adhikary,  Mrs. Kakoli Chakraborty were approached be association to be the judges for the competitions along with some other judges from Durgapur and Kolkata.

It was a privilege for our students who took part in these competitions and show cased their talents. Their conducts were commendable as were their performances.
