CISCE NATIONAL FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP 2025-26
The CISCE National Football Tournament was organized by St. Joseph’s School at greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh, from 19th to 22nd August 2025. We are proud to announce that some of our students were selected for representing the state.
Many states of India had participated in this event including West Bengal, who had the privilege to showcase the true meaning of team spirit, energy, hard work and enthusiasm of the
students from different age groups. The students of St. Michael’s School, Durgapur, had the honour of being a part of this prestigious tournament. The students who made our school proud of their skills include SAPTARSHI GANGULY of Class 6D and
SUBHOJIT SARKAR of Class 7A. Our own teacher, MR. SOURAV MAJI, was appointed as the Manager of the West Bengal National Football Team.
The budding sports talents were beset with emotions. Their pride and team spirit was noteworthy. It was the first time of their participation at the National level games, which they played with a lot of zeal. They learnt to strategize and evaluate their strengths and weaknesses, while representing their school and state with a lot of hope and optimism. They were awarded with participation certificates and were felicitated at the school’s morning assembly.
