ALL INDIA FARMING ESSAY COMPETITION 2025-26
On 25th September 2025, St. Michael’s School, Durgapur had participated in the All India Farming Essay Competition organized by GV Farms, Maharashtra. It was a flagship programme to generate eco-sensitization through competitive spirit. This competition aimed at generating awareness about farming on a global context. It envisions to develop sustainable and thriving communities on a global front. The theme of the essay was ‘Rural farming- Techniques, Technologies & more’.
There were 59 participants that included students as well as teachers. The participants had written their essays in English and in Hindi. The stakeholders had performed exceptionally well as reflected below:

All others were awarded with a participation certificate to acknowledge their efforts. As a token of appreciation, The Principal, Charles Joseph Nyss, was awarded a gold medal and a certificate for his support and encouragement. Mrs. Amrita Bhattacharya, Asst. Teacher, (English), was also awarded a gold medal and a certificate with regards to the teamwork executed towards the competition. These accolades showcase the strength, dedication and hard work of the students and teachers of St. Michael’s School, Durgapur. As we move forward, we remain focused to strive for greater heights and on nurturing well- rounded individuals who will make a positive impact in the world.
