IFA GOLDEN BABY LEAGUE -2023
St Michael’s School, Durgapur was a part of The IFA Golden Baby League, a Football Tournament organised by Narayana School, Durgapur in Association with
Accoglobus Ventures in the year 2023. The tournament was organized with the aim of promoting the spirit of camaraderie through the power of sports like football. The league
played a role in fueling the enthusiasm of playing football amongst the juniors.
It started on 15th July and came to an end on 4th August, 2023. The league was categorised into three different age groups – U-6, U-8 and U-12 categories. Various schools across the town were a part of this league. The participating teams were full of enthusiasm. The students of St. Michael’s School have achieved various rewards and positions at the end
of this league.
A Champions Trophy was awarded to the U-8 category with a score of 3-2
A Champions Trophy was awarded to the U-12 category with a score of 3-1
A Runners up Position in the U-6 category with a score of 1-0
The Best player award in the U-8 category was achieved by Aryan Sarkar of 3D who received a Golden Boot.
The Best Goal Keeper Award was achieved by Arav Kumar Singh of 3D.
The Best Player Award in the U-12 was awarded to Aditya Raj Tiwari who received a Golden Boot.
The top scorer award for the U-12 category was awarded to Koustav Kisku of 4D.
All participants received participation certificates for their true spirit of sportsmanship. The tournament was a great experience for the beginners.
